Recognition Status, Suspension, Revocation & Correction

How PAR may correct, suspend, withdraw or revoke recognition when material issues arise.

Why status may change

A recognized entry may require further review if credible information indicates a material error, evidence concern, non-compliance or other issue affecting its validity.

Possible outcomes

  • Recognition maintained.
  • Administrative information corrected.
  • Additional evidence requested.
  • Recognition suspended while reviewed.
  • Recognition withdrawn or revoked where justified.

Historical traceability

Where appropriate, a material status change may remain visible in historical administrative records so that the public record is not misleading.

Corrections

Minor administrative errors may be corrected without changing the underlying recognition. Material changes may require further review.
