Gallery & Media Policy
How photographs and videos are selected, approved and presented in the public PAR Gallery.
Purpose of the Gallery
The Gallery provides a visual record of selected recognition-related media that has been approved for public presentation. It is not an automatic mirror of every file submitted during an application.
Approval
Media submitted for applications or uploaded to the administrative media library may remain private until it has been reviewed and approved for public display.
Selection considerations
- Relevance to the recognition or institutional purpose
- Clarity and quality
- Appropriate permissions and privacy considerations
- Accurate captioning
- Responsible representation of participants
Privacy
Personal evidence should not be published merely because it was supplied during a review. Public display should follow applicable permission, privacy and safeguarding requirements.
Corrections or removal
PAR may correct captions, replace media or remove material when a material error, privacy concern, permission issue or other legitimate reason is identified.
