PRIME ACHIEVEMENT RECORDS
Fields of Recognition
Recognition may span disciplines, professions, education, sport, creativity, service, innovation and other areas of accomplishment.
A broad recognition landscape
Exceptional achievement can take many forms. PAR may organize recognition into categories so that records and accomplishments can be described consistently and discovered more easily.
Category principles
Categories are organizational tools, not guarantees of eligibility. The applicable recognition requirements remain more important than the category label.
Examples of fields
- Education and learning
- Science, technology and innovation
- Arts, culture and creativity
- Sport, fitness and human performance
- Literature, communication and media
- Community service and social contribution
- Professional excellence and entrepreneurship
- Environmental and sustainability initiatives
- Youth and student achievement
- Organizational and institutional accomplishment
Category development
Categories may evolve as the Registry develops. New categories should be introduced with clear descriptions and should not be used to imply standards that have not been established.
