Recognition Registry Guide
How to read a PAR Registry entry and understand its identifiers and status.
The public Registry
The PAR Recognition Registry is the public-facing record of published recognitions that are eligible for public visibility. It is designed to make recognition information discoverable and verifiable.
Understanding the identifiers
- PAR ID: the primary public identity of the recognition.
- Registry ID: the registry-specific identity corresponding to the recognition.
- Certificate ID: the identity associated with an issued recognition credential where applicable.
- Submission ID: the identifier of the original application or submission; it is distinct from the final recognition identity.
Recognition status
Status communicates the current administrative state of a published recognition. A status such as Active, Suspended or Withdrawn should be read together with the recognition information and the official verification result.
Searching
Visitors can search by identifier, holder, title, category, country and recognition year where those filters are available. The Verify service provides a focused identity check.
Corrections and historical information
A registry entry may be corrected when a material administrative or factual error is identified. Important changes should remain traceable through the administrative audit process.
